Welcome to OA Lodge 158's Website!

newsflash
  • Some reminders.

The Lodge Leadership Development Weekend is August 22 - 24 at WTC.  Paul is working with Brian Lobao and myself to finalize the program which will concentrate on strengthening some of our weak areas, building a team to lead the lodge next year, and planning the year ahead.  All Arrowmen are invited, however it is an expectation that lodge and chapter officers and committee chairmen will be there.  Advisers should also attend.  The cost is $10 for pre-registration.  You can use the event pre-registration form on the website to register for this event.  Fill it out and mail it in at least one week prior to the event or the cost goes to $12.

Vigils for 2008 will be selected prior to September 12th to be inducted October 24 (LTSR) and 25 (WTC).  Vigil recommendation forms are due to the Council Service Center (not to me) by August 15.  So far we have received one.  It is not necessary for a form to be submitted in order for a candidate to be considered.  The forms are a way for you to propose a candidate who the committee may not know that well and provide them with information they may not be aware of.  Forms are available on the website.  If you are recommending someone you should make sure they have paid their dues.  Only dues paying Brotherhood members will appear on the list of eligible candidates.

Welcome to the Nanepashemet Lodge 158 website.

Our Lodge flap pays tribute to the proud heritage of the five Lodges that have merged to form the current Nanepashemet Lodge.

Our Lodge consists of five chapters Winnepurkit, Passaquo, Shingebis, Pawtucket, Amiskwi each representing a district of Yankee Clipper council. Our Council covers towns in Mass and in Southern New Hampshire. Yankee Clipper Council serves over 8,500 youth through its Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Venturing and Learning for Life programs.

The lodge provides service the camps and programs of the Council through inductions and fellowship weekends and special events such as the Arrow of Light weekend and the Webelos Woods program. The Lodge also hosts fellowship events, conclaves, training events; an annual family banquet and supports the Council activities at Council run events. The Lodge ceremonies teams bring an extra flair to other events on a Council District and Unit level. Many Lodge members youth and adult are active members of both our Scout and Cub Scout Camps.

The Lodge is also involved in support of the Councils FOS program and also sponsors scholarships for the summer camp programs and training events. The Lodge publishes a newsletter (Codzilla chronicles) available by mail or on line to its paid membership, which are currently over 500.
